Hey guys,
This is mike. Just thought that I should post on here that I will be leaving DTL. I don't know why this is happening, all that I know is that it's one of those God things. It seems like everytime we practice things get pushed ina more mainstream direction and God is pushing me in a different direction. God Has called me to ministry through heavy music and I just wasn't doing that in DTL. So sunday I told the rest of the guys that I'm leaving. I don't know were God is going to take me in the future, but I do know that I trust him to guide me to were I need to be. I'll probably be starting a new band somewhere down the road, in fact I have already started writing new songs and coming up with names and the what not. I'll keep you posted.
May God bless all of you and guide your path. Just remember to stay strong in the faith and when crazy stuff happens don't quetion God's reason for it just ask him what he wants to do in your life withi it , cause everything happens for a reason.
In Christ, Mike

That's a shame that you're leaving Mike. :c But hey, if it's a God thing that's what He's called you to do and that's that. Good luck with making a new band anyway.

To update everyone on the post-DTL situation,
I've gotten to gether with another ex-DTL member, Corey and another dude, ERic Hayes, from church. It looks like the three of us will be doing the new band and I may be playing playing bass instead of guitar or both and splitting vocal duties with Corey. We are still looking for a drummer. We have a name, Sacrifitium, and already have lyrics to some new songs written. These new songs are much heavier, technical, and more brutal than anything we've ever done before. We are drowing influence form bands like Suffocation, Slayer, Morbid Angle, and others in the style of brutal death metal (but the lyrics remain christian, even though they have become more graphic and controversial, but hey it's freakin' death metal) We also have a logo and some cover art done for when we get ready to rcord, whenever that may be. We plan to have averything set in stone and ready to start rehersals by MAy. Heres hoping God does something awesome with this new project.
God Bless,
Mike
